Many organizations support patient advocacy and cancer research. These groups provide a vital service to cancer patients and their families, providing advice, community resources and help in coping with a cancer diagnosis. Many also contribute to cancer research locally and nationally.

Joining a cancer support group can provide a source of strength for patients and families.

SNCC actively supports many of these groups, both financially and through voluntary activities of our physicians and staff.

The Southeast Nebraska Cancer Foundation was set up to assist all patients in Lincoln and Southeast Nebraska. Foundation funding is received from donations, memorials and Football 101. Individuals can request funds to assist them with transportation costs and/or lodging.
