The Cancer Resource Center (CRC) is a resource for people facing cancer. Affiliated with the Lincoln Medical Education Partnership, CRC provides cancer information, research coordination, and counseling services to Lincoln and the surrounding communities.

The Cancer Resource Center is a leader among Community Clinical Oncology Programs (CCOP) in research. The center works closely with cancer patients and local physicians to identify more effective cancer treatments and therapies that produce fewer side effects.

CRC also provides answers to many of the questions that accompany a cancer diagnosis, helping patients and families cope. Support includes:

  • Information about diagnoses and treatment protocols
  • Local support groups
  • Wig bank, where patients may get free wigs and turbans
  • Counseling
