The services at Southeast Nebraska Cancer Center (SNCC) are available to all who seek them. We understand how stressful initial diagnosis is, and we strive to keep waiting time for an appointment to a minimum. You may become our patient either by making an appointment yourself or through a physician referral. If your insurance company requires a referral before being seen, please bring that with you at your first visit. We also welcome the opportunity to provide second opinions.
From the moment you first call our office, our entire staff will work with you to see that your medical needs are handled with care, skill and efficiency. Our doctors see patients by appointment only. Our office is open Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm .
Our Schedulers will help you with scheduling appointments and/or tests. Usually, your next appointment will be scheduled before you leave the office. Should you need services outside of our office, we will make the necessary arrangements for you. If your insurance company requires pre-authorization prior to hospitalizations or tests, it is your responsibility to notify our staff so we can make the necessary arrangements.
SNCC has the ability to perform many of your tests right here to minimize your travel. Bone marrow biopsies can be scheduled in our procedure room. Our laboratory is able to perform many tests here in the clinic, and those tests that must be run at another site can often be drawn here. We also have a CT scanner and PET scanner available for many diagnostics procedures. Please talk to our staff about arranging your tests or procedures at SNCC.
We understand that emergencies and special needs can occur, and we will do our very best to accommodate your special needs. If you have a laboratory only appointment, but are not feeling well, please do not wait until that appointment to voice your concerns. Please call ahead so we can determine whether a visit with our Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner is needed. We request that should you need to cancel an appointment, you provide as much notice as possible.
